«يعز علي» (It pains me) – Artwork in Square Kufic
A handmade artwork combining the beauty of Square Kufic and its distinctive geometric structure, where the Arabic letters interlock in a balanced design reflecting the precision and authenticity of this art form. The artwork relies on shades of blue, using the two-brush technique to blend two tones and give the composition visual depth and harmony. It was executed with Van Gogh watercolors on heavy, rough Canson paper, with a two-tone Canson mount, and is completed with a simple wooden frame in natural wood color. This piece is a blend of traditional Arabic calligraphy and geometric design, suited to lovers of Kufic script, Islamic art and contemporary heritage-inspired decor.
